Tutima Patria 6612-09: Titanium Meets Gold
With the Patria 6612-09, Tutima Glashütte combines a high-gloss polished Grade 5 titanium case with hands made of solid 18-karat gold for the first time in this design. The new two-tone version does not rely on a classic gold case, but instead uses the precious metal specifically to create a warm contrast to the lightweight titanium.
Titanium and gold in an understated design
The 41-millimeter case is 11.2 millimeters thick. Its silver-white, textured dial features gold-colored diamond-cut hour markers and a matching brand logo. The hour and minute hands are crafted from solid 18-karat gold; Tutima polishes their surfaces by hand, while the bevels are ground and satin-finished. The small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock is set off with a circular grooved pattern and a gold-colored rim.

A cognac-colored sheepskin leather strap with a beige lining echoes the color scheme. It fastens with a titanium pin buckle. The ergonomically angled lugs, combined with the material’s light weight, are designed to enhance wearing comfort. The watch is water-resistant to 5 bar.
Tutima 617 Manufacture Caliber
The sapphire crystal case back reveals the hand-wound Tutima 617 caliber. It consists of 171 components and features 20 jewels, three of which are set in screw-mounted gold chatons. Traditional Glashütte features include the three-quarter plate with a striped finish, hand-beveled edges, and a sunburst-finished crown and escape wheel.

The escapement-less oscillating system features a hand-curved Breguet balance spring and a screw-regulator balance, operating at 21,600 half-vibrations per hour. When fully wound, the watch offers a power reserve of at least 65 hours. It displays hours, minutes, and a small seconds hand.

Subtle material contrast instead of a classic two-tone look
The new Patria makes deliberate, sparing use of gold. This preserves the understated character of the titanium case, while the watch’s hands and hour markers lend it a warmer feel. At the same time, the model highlights the artisanal details that Tutima combines with classic Glashütte watchmaking within the Patria line.
