Art Deco Emerald Bracelet from the Bosch Family Estate Heads to Auction at Eppli
An Art Deco bracelet from the estate of the Robert Bosch family is among the most important lots in the Eppli auction “Notable Jewelry and Gems,” to be held on October 10, 2026, in Stuttgart. The estimated price is 190,000 euros.
Platinum, diamonds, and three emeralds
The bracelet, crafted in the 1930s, is made of platinum and features a white gold clasp. Twenty old-cut diamonds weigh a total of about nine carats, while additional octagonal diamonds weigh about four carats. At the center are three exceptionally clear emeralds weighing approximately 3.6, 2.6, and 2.6 carats.

A Gift from Robert Bosch
According to the auction house, the engineer and entrepreneur Robert Bosch gave this piece of jewelry to his wife, Margarete. It has remained in the family ever since. Its provenance directly links this intricately crafted object to Stuttgart—and adds a biographical dimension to its value in terms of materials and craftsmanship.

Also up for auction from the same estate are a pair of Art Deco drop earrings with sapphire cabochons, as well as drop earrings featuring precious coral and onyx. However, the emerald bracelet remains the highlight of the auction due to the quality and size of its stones, as well as its condition.
