Geneva Calling: Watches & Wonders welcomes new brands - including Bulgari

The Watches & Wonders Geneva Since its opening to the end consumer in 2023, it has emerged as a worthy successor to Baselworld, which last took place in 2019 – at least for the watch community.

This is all the more true when you consider the side events. There is Time to Watches, where affordable watches can also be discovered for the masses and which is taking place for the first time this year within walking distance of the pompous Watches & Wonders. Added to this are the numerous luxury watch brands presenting their new products in the city centre of Geneva. To the outside world at least, all of this takes place in peaceful coexistence.

Watch lovers, journalists, bloggers and dealers can also not care and simply enjoy the ticking variety that the 1 to 7 April in Geneva to discover.

Watches & Wonders itself will take place on the Palexpo site, with more than 60 exhibitors. New to the event are Bulgari and six other brands.

The new six-pack includes the Münster-based single-hand watch expert MasterSinger, the skeletonization specialist Armin Strom, Christiaan van der Klaauw with the special expertise for astronomical clocks, the exceptional mechanics of genus, the watches with liquid displays from Hyt as well as the well-known for its collaborations Company Kross Studio, which also has its own mechanical innovations.

Individual appointments also for consumers

For the third consecutive year, Watches & Wonders opens its doors to the interested public. After four days reserved for the industry, watch enthusiasts and collectors can experience a program specially designed for them from Saturday, April 5, to Monday, April 7.

This year the Ticket sales adapted to different target groups and visitors. The most important innovation is that everyone can now create their own personalized schedule thanks to an exclusive offer available only online when purchasing a ticket.

This "premium experience" comes at a price. For CHF 550, you get a day ticket, free parking, access to the VIP lounge, and the opportunity to book expert tours and exclusive product presentations.

For those who find that too expensive, there are one-, two-, three-day, and weekend tickets available. Prices range from CHF 30 to CHF 160.

Multifaceted supporting program

And even for these “normal people” there is a lot to discover. For example, in the so-called LAB, a space dedicated to innovation and new technologies, exploring the future of watchmaking education and careers. Brands, startups, and students present projects and prototypes in a new environment.

The program in auditorium, consisting of brand presentations and lectures by experts, is also open to all visitors and offers insights into the latest developments in the watch industry.

Finally, the exhibition Longitude Zero takes visitors on a journey along the Greenwich Meridian in search of the markers of time.

In the City brings the art of watchmaking to the city center with a free program of events, discoveries, and experiences, and the participation of numerous partner boutiques. The highlight will be an extraordinary concert on Thursday evening.

The watchmaking professions are in the spotlight throughout the week, from the brand stands to the Watchmaking Village at the Pont de la Machine, where apprentices and trainers will present initial training courses in the industry. Don't miss the SwissSkills 2025 microtechnology qualifications, which will be held for the first time as part of the trade fair, as well as the live broadcast of the competition in the Watchmaking Village.

Conferences, readings and film screenings, particularly in collaboration with the Payot bookstore, will explore time in original and unexpected ways and round off this exceptional week of watchmaking.
