MeisterSinger presents a new version of a multiple award-winning model
Mechanical watches with just one hand have been produced in Münster, Westphalia, Germany since 2001. Founder, designer and managing director Manfred Brassler places his timepieces in the technical and cultural tradition of early watchmaking.

Because who would have known? Up until the 18th century, all tower, table and pocket clocks indicated the time with a single hand.
Brassler says of the "Pangaea Day Date 365" with its historicising dial design:
"Creating a single-hand watch with a historic-looking dial design was an obvious choice for us - after all, the single-hand concept has always stood for a return to the origins of timekeeping."
The "Pangaea Day Date" has been a reliable part of the collection for more than ten years. With its unusual day and date display on exposed rings, it has already been honoured with three prestigious design awards: the Red Dot, the German Design and the Good Design Award.
In addition to the variants in the two MeisterSinger house colours, the blue sunburst and ivory, the first "365" variant in white added a nostalgic touch to the range last year.
MeisterSinger is now adding a second colour variant to the range, which combines the historical charm of the model with modern colours.

With its decorative lettering, delicate texture and specially designed hour hand, the "Pangaea Day Date 365" is reminiscent of an era in which time passed more leisurely. The exposed rings for the date and day of the week create spatial depth and lend the design a harmonious balance.
The current date and day of the week can be read below the 12 o'clock position. The grey dial has a fine sunray finish. Soft, orange-coloured accents create lively highlights.

The watch is fitted with a soft cowhide strap in dark brown with contrasting white stitching. The various strap alternatives also include an eye-catching yellow vintage leather strap.

Inside works the Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW220, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger's one-hand watches. The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement's precision work can be observed through the 6-times screwed-in transparent glass back of the 40-millimetre stainless steel case.
