BA111OD – certified and affordable: “Chapter 7”
The Swiss brand with a name that leaves everyone stumbling over how to pronounce it, as well as a—as the founder himself dubbed it—phygital sales concept. With this and spectacular prices for high-quality Swiss watch technology, Thomas Baillod has been shaking up the watch community since 2019—and quickly became a success.

"It's about the evolution of traditional and online retail, that is, of physical and digital retail. I also call it we-commerce, because it's about the community. The advantage is that you delegate not only distribution, but also marketing. That's not possible with pure e-commerce. This means that I've completely reinterpreted the three things that are essential for sales – POS, service, and inventory," explains Baillod, who is happy to provide further information at his booth. The watch marketing lecturer and founder of the Watch Trade Academy will personally explain what this is all about and how jewelers can become part of this community at his booth in the Watch Boutique.
There, you can also discover the Neuchâtel-based brand's watches. The undisputed highlight is the first certified chronometer, BA111OD.

The "Chapitre 7" – "Kapitel 7" in German – continues the collection's chapter-based designation and is certified by the Geneva Chronometer Observatory. It combines the highest Swiss-made quality with minimalist design and affordability.
“This certification marks a new step for BA111OD and is a testament to our high standards and our commitment to providing the best to our customers.”
Thomas Baillod
The 40-millimeter stainless steel case, which is water-resistant to ten bar, houses the certified Soprod P024 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.

Because each movement is individually tested, it guarantees an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day – far exceeding the standards of conventional mechanical watches. Carefully regulated, it also offers increased resistance to temperature fluctuations, shocks, and magnetic fields to ensure optimal performance under all conditions.

Its reliable precision is evident on the sunburst dial with its asymmetrical, cascading guilloché pattern. Available in Ice Blue, Deep Blue, Forest Green, and Jet Black, the dial is surrounded by a ten-sided, faceted bezel.

The “Chapitre 7” is worn on a color-coordinated rubber strap (RRP 940 € CHF) or on a stainless steel bracelet (RRP 995 €).
