Seiko continues to support "Médecins Sans Frontières"
For the third time, Seiko has launched a limited “Astron” special edition to support the non-profit organization.
The organization fights for access to medical care in crisis and disaster areas worldwide, saving countless lives every year. This assistance is only possible thanks to the support of donations and dedicated partners.
Seiko is one of them. A portion of the new "Astron GPS Solar Model SSH173J1," limited to 800 pieces, will go directly to Doctors Without Borders to continue supporting and enabling their global medical projects.

By purchasing this special edition, each wearer actively contributes to supporting this important mission.

"Doctors Without Borders – in a world in turmoil and full of uncertainty, the achievements of this NGO, which is almost 100 percent funded by donations, can hardly be overestimated. Seiko's support is good, right, and important!"
Antje Heepmann, watch journalist
The watch reflects the colors of the aid organization with its white and silver dial, white ceramic elements, and red accents. The engraving "In Support of Medicines Sans Frontieres" on the screw-down caseback further highlights the partnership between Seiko and the organization.

The watch comes in a special first-aid kit-style box made from 100 percent recycled polyester, with a label featuring the MSF logo and the "Running Person" symbol on the inside.

Equipped with a 43.3-millimeter titanium case water-resistant to 10 bar and the 5X53 caliber, a GPS-controlled solar movement, the watch offers exceptional precision. It features a second time zone with a separate AM/PM display, a perpetual calendar running until February 28, 2100, a world time function with 39 time zones, and a flight mode. The power reserve is approximately six months on a full charge. RRP €3,300
