40 years of BERND WOLF: Manufactured jewellery from the Black Forest

Special love for quality, design and environmental protection
BERND WOLF jewellery is not only characterised by its special quality - the majority of the designs are made of 925 silver and plated with 24-carat gold. Jewellery is now also available in 14-carat gold. Selected coloured gemstones such as tourmaline, peridot, lapils lazuli, spinel, garnet and many more provide a touch of colour. Freshwater pearls and zirconia stones are also used to give the jewellery designs a sophisticated look.

The romantic and often floral designs are created in the family business by Bernd Wolf, his wife Yvonne Wolf and daughter Annalea Wolf. The pieces of jewellery are created in the local manufactory in the Dreisamtal near Freiburg. This gives jewellery lovers genuine "Made in Germany" quality. BERND WOLF offers a lifetime repair service for its jewellery.
Commitment to environmental protection and nature
The family business is also strongly committed to environmental protection. BERND WOLF uses gold from certified sources that has been extracted in compliance with environmental regulations and human rights. This is mostly washed gold from rivers.
The packaging material for the jewellery is made from 100% recycled cardboard. The jewellery is produced in Germany, just 45 minutes from the BERND WOLF factory, which ensures a short supply chain. All the electricity used in production has been generated by hydroelectric power since 2008. BERND WOLF has also been using a solar system since 2023. A photovoltaic system is currently under construction.

BERND WOLF is also involved in the Mercury Free Mining Project, a non-profit organisation that promotes cleaner and more effective gold mining methods that do not use toxic mercury. This also creates healthier and more profitable working conditions for 14 million gold prospectors.

BERND WOLF looks back on INHORGENTA
BERND WOLF's new jewellery creations could also be discovered live at this year's INHORGENTA. Managing Director Bernd Wolf summarised.
There was a very good atmosphere with our retailers, who were enthusiastic about our new collection and working with us. Overall, the number of visitors was slightly below our expectations and the number of new international customers was not yet as high as we would have liked.
BERND WOLF launched its own bridal jewellery line for the first time in 2024. After a year on the market, the manufactory draws a positive conclusion. Bernd Wolf commented:
The feedback on our bridal jewellery line has been excellent. The collection has been very well received and many of our retailers are setting new focal points in their wedding ring windows, taking the collection to their wedding fairs and the new models are often represented in our top 20 lists. Of course, this also means that they are not only well received as bridal jewellery, but also very well received in general.

Activities in BERND W's anniversary yearOLF
BERND WOLF is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a high-quality, 100-page anniversary magazine that has been sent to retail partners. There are various anniversary projects to explore, including a major competition that all retailers can enter in their shop. Prizes include a cruise with AIDA Cruises worth 3,000 euros and a holiday in the Black Forest near the manufactory.
