Casio is delighted to present two award-winning G-SHOCK watches
The iF Design Award is organised annually by the Hanover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH and is one of the most internationally renowned design competitions.
This year, 131 design experts selected the winners from around 11,000 entries from 66 countries and regions. Twice they decided in favour of G-SHOCK.
"Rangeman GPR-H1000"
Developed for extreme conditions, this excellent timepiece is extremely resistant to dust and mud thanks to its design - ideal for the outdoor adventures of its wearers.

In addition, large metal side guards at the three and nine o'clock positions provide increased protection against knocks and impacts. The oversized buttons also enable intuitive operation, even in the dark and when wearing gloves.
The model is not only simply robust, but also technically versatile. It is equipped with six sensors, including an optical heart rate monitor and an integrated GPS function.

"MRG-B2100"
As the latest member of the MR-G line, which forms the premium segment of the G-SHOCK series, the second award-winning model features a three-dimensional dial design. Inspired by the traditional Japanese Kigumi wood joining technique, this watch epitomises craftsmanship and technological innovation.

The octagonal bezel consists of 27 individual components, each of which has been polished and assembled in an elaborate process. This complex manufacturing process is reminiscent of the precision of traditional Japanese woodworking, in which no nails or metal joints are used.

The pattern is not only beautiful to look at, but also has the functional task of letting enough light through the recesses to generate solar power.
