LVMH: Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin replaces Frédéric Arnault
Stéphane Bianchi, Managing Director of LVMH Group, has announced the appointment of Jean-Christophe Babin as CEO of LVMH Watches with effect from 1 April 2025.
He succeeds Frédéric Arnault, son of LVMH patron Bernard Arnault, who will become CEO of the LVMH brand in the fashion segment Loro Piana on 10 June.
Jean-Christophe Babin reports to Stéphane Bianchi and retains his current responsibilities as CEO of Bulgari.
The luxury goods group also announced that in his new role, Babin will continue the work begun by Frédéric Arnault and will develop and "orchestrate" the development and expansion strategies of Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith.
Julien Tornare, CEO of Hublot, Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer, and Benoit de Clerck, CEO of Zenith, report to him.
"Under the leadership of Frédéric Arnault, the Watch Division has undergone a profound transformation. This included the realisation of operational synergies between the Group's watch houses as well as extensive work on the positioning and challenges of each individual company. I would like to thank Frédéric and I am delighted that this dynamic will continue with the appointment of Jean-Christophe. He will use his entrepreneurial spirit, his energy and his exceptional leadership skills to drive the division's sustainable and ambitious growth," commented Stéphane Bianchi.
