Moonshine gold from Omega for the 2026 Olympics
On February 6, 2026, the attention of the sporting world will turn to the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
As the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles since 1932, Omega is already celebrating this event with the launch of the “Seamaster 37 mm Milano Cortina 2026”.
The special edition features an 18-karat Moonshine gold case. Introduced in 2019, this Omega alloy is inspired—of course—by the moonlight in the dark blue night sky. It has a lighter hue than conventional 18-karat yellow gold and is characterized by high color and luster retention.
Inside is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8807 with self-winding movement, 55 hours of power reserve and Master Chronometer certification from the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

The proven precision of the movement can be read on the white Grand Feu enamel dial with sculptural hour markers in moonshine gold and faceted dauphine hands in 18-carat gold.
“This watch represents our Olympic excellence since Los Angeles,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega.
"While the design of the 'Seamaster 37 mm' has remained remarkably consistent since the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, our timing technology has continuously evolved."

The connection to the Olympic Games is honored by a commemorative medallion on the polished case back, which bears the logo of the 2026 Olympic Games.
