Sinn Spezialuhren celebrates 10 years of Römerberg with a special edition in crimson red

In 2015, SINN opened a branch in the historic "Haus zum Goldenen Rad" on Römerberg, the prestigious town hall square in Frankfurt, the home of the German watch brand.

This is being celebrated with the "1793 Römerberg" special edition, limited to 100 pieces, with a sunburst dial in shiny crimson.

This choice of colour, which is quite unusual for SINN, was of course deliberate. It echoes the lavishly restored façade of the "Haus zum Goldenen Rad" with its red Main sandstone, a typical and traditional building material for the Rhine-Main region. With this special edition, the watch manufacturer is once again emphasising its close connection to this region.

The renovation of the building has received several awards: in 2018, the City of Frankfurt am Main's Monument Advisory Board honoured it as "Monument of the Year", followed by the Hessian Monument Protection Award in the "Living in a Monument" category in 2024.

Looking through the screwed sapphire crystal back, the "1793 Römerberg" also reveals high-quality architecture in the form of the finely finished, anti-magnetic automatic movement SW300-1. The rotor bears a special engraving: the silhouette of Frankfurt's Römer, which has housed the city's town hall since the 15th century. The movement is protected by a 39-millimetre stainless steel case. It is water-resistant to ten bar and pressurised.

The "1793 Römerberg" is supplied in a double case with a burgundy Alcantara strap and a black calfskin strap as well as a folding clasp, strap changing tool and spare spring bars.
