Recently, Chaument has also become the Swiss Better Gold Association The goal of this non-profit organization is to improve living and working conditions in small gold mining communities. The Swiss Better Gold Association is primarily active in Peru and Colombia.

As a partner of Reforrest'Action, Chaumet is also working to reduce emissions and the environmental impact of packaging materials. The latest step in Chaumet's environmental and sustainability commitment is the creation of a new necklace pendant. Every step in the supply chain, from gold mining to the production of the jewelry, can be traced. According to the luxury label, the bee-themed pendant, known as the "Bee de Chaumet," is made from 100 percent ethically mined and traceable gold from sustainable sources.

This principle will gradually be applied to the other jewelry and high jewelry collections.
