The Geneva Watch Days complete the half-dozen and score with record participation

From September 4 to 7, 2025, the ticking in Geneva's hotels and boutiques will once again be louder. The Geneva Watch Days, a decentralized watch event, will take place for the sixth time.

In addition to a record number of watch brands participating, the organizers promise an even more extensive and exciting supporting program.

Following the 2024 edition, which welcomed over 13,800 visitors (2023: 8,000), 600 media representatives and 250 retailers from all over the world and featured 52 watch brands, the number of exhibitors has increased significantly to 66.

This includes established traditional brands as well as innovative independent brands and exciting start-ups.

Watch enthusiasts who cannot be there in person will be kept up to date by the new media partners Radio Lac and Carac TV. They will be presenting short features, interviews and live reports throughout the week.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of the Bulgari Group and President of Geneva Watch Days, explains:

"Open up! Dare! Innovate! That's what Geneva Watch Days is all about: creating a spontaneous, relaxed, and informal moment—a moment that resonates with the media, retailers, and, above all, those who matter most to us: our customers. As a spokesperson for the founding brands of 2020 and all those who have since helped keep the event's heartbeat alive, I'm proud to see it reach a new milestone while remaining true to its unique energy and unfiltered sound. Even in a completely digital age, human connection—the encounters, the conversations, the direct exchange—is irreplaceable, neither within the industry nor with the public. And in the future, we will continue to open our doors wide to all who share this spirit: to all who create, those who challenge, and those who push things forward."

Competition of precision

Also new is the Calibership competition, dedicated to precision. Forty aspiring watchmakers will demonstrate their regulating skills on Sellita movements and undergo testing by the Swiss Official Chronometer Control (COSC).

Meeting point at the lake

The central pavilion in the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc will once again be the central and accessible meeting point on Lake Geneva. This year's revised design features a sail-shaped roof, striped deck chairs, and maritime accents. In this relaxed ambiance, there will be 150 watches to discover.

Digital navigation and newly designed visitor program

To better support brands, optimize visitor flow, and simplify registration, the new Geneva Watch Days website breaks new ground with a redesigned, intuitive user interface.

In a dedicated wing of the pavilion, the Culture Club also offers an extensive program developed in collaboration with various partners: the FHH, the GPHG, the Geneva School of Watchmaking, the Horological Society of New York, Horopedia and the Watch Library.

An auction for the talents of tomorrow

A charity auction, jointly organized by Geneva Watch Days and Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, is taking place again. Since its launch in 2023, over CHF 200,000 has been raised, which has been donated to the Pierre Amstutz Fund, which commemorates the former director of the Geneva Watchmaking School.

This non-profit association aims to support apprentices in precarious situations at the school so they can complete their training under favorable conditions. The fund also promotes the micromechanics and watchmaking professions, contributes to strengthening the bond between apprentices and the school's faculty, and develops relationships between alumni and apprentices during their apprenticeships.
