Pinterest is an exciting platform. The digital image gallery is the perfect place to go for anyone looking for inspiration and ideas - be it for parties, fashion, decoration and so much more. It's also the perfect window into the lives and interests of younger people.

The platform has 570 million active users per month - around 30 per cent of whom come from Germany. The highest proportion of these are the target group of 14 to 29-year-olds (Statista, status 2025). Statistics from 2022 put the proportion of women on Pinterest at between 65 and 75 per cent - although men are catching up, the overall gender distribution is unlikely to have changed significantly in the last three years.

Pinterest is the third most successful social media platform, which is why it is particularly interesting to take a look at the trend reports that the website regularly publishes. They are based directly on users' search queries and reveal which styles and decorating ideas are particularly interesting and in demand at the moment.
