Tutima Glashütte is Official Timekeeper on the "Road to Wimbledon"
After the Hamburg Open ATP 500 In May, the Glashütte manufactory will also be the official timekeeper of the Berlin Tennis Open, which will be held at the Steffi Graf Stadium until June 22nd.
The largest women's tennis tournament in Germany brings Wimbledon flair and the concentrated elite of women's tennis to the Grunewald forest. The Berlin Tennis Open is the official preparation tournament for the hallowed turf in London and meets the high Wimbledon Championships standards. World ranking points and a record US$1.1 million prize money are also up for grabs in Berlin.

In addition to serving as Official Timekeeper, Tutima Glashütte honors the three winners in singles and doubles with the Official Champions Watch “Lady Sky.”

"From the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg, we're playing a fast ball to the WTA equivalent in Berlin and ensuring a successful mixed doubles match for Tutima Glashütte in tennis. This commitment underscores our long-standing tradition as a passionate partner of elite sport – and as a reliable pacesetter when every second counts," explains Matthias Stotz, Managing Director of Tutima Glashütte.
"We are delighted with the strong presence at these two prestigious tournaments. We will reach an audience of millions both on-site at Center Court and in the hospitality area, as well as digitally and on television screens worldwide."

Green for lawn and clock
The preparation of the surface in Berlin is supervised by greenkeepers from Wimbledon and is carried out according to the strictest Championship standards. Over a year of painstaking care is required before the first serve can be made. During the tournament, the green is trimmed to exactly eight millimeters daily, and the playing surface is tested for hardness and tennis ball rebound.
Precision down to the last millimeter and the preservation of long-standing tradition are also the foundation of Tutima Glashütte's timepieces, as evidenced by a glance through the sapphire crystal caseback of the Official Champions Watch at the 18-carat gold seal on the rotor. It powers the Tutima 335 automatic caliber with a 41-hour power reserve, which has been hand-adjusted to the highest precision.

It is housed in the 34-millimeter stainless steel case of the "Lady Sky" and transmits its precision to the sage green dial with its Asanoha pattern. The pattern originates in Japan and symbolizes strength and power. (RRP €2,200)
