Wempe and IWC Schaffhausen celebrate the opening of the new boutique in Hamburg
In the renowned shopping street Neuer Wall 10 and in the immediate vicinity of the Jungfernstieg promenade on the Binnenalster, since April of this year you can immerse yourself in the cosmos of the Swiss manufacturer in the new IWC boutique behind the historic façade of the Gutruf building.

From the striking "Ingenieur" to the "Pilot's Watches", watch enthusiasts can experience all collections and models in all their diversity. In addition to the classic models, visitors can also take a close look at the "Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon Le Petit Prince" (Ref. IW504901) and the "Portugieser Hand-Wound Tourbillon Day & Night" (Ref. IW545901).
The boutique, which was opened together with the Hamburg-based family business Wempe, offers an inviting atmosphere in a modern, open and bright ambience with a colour concept in black, sand and white.
"Our connection with Hamburg goes back a long way, as IWC was already supplying watches to several Hamburg wholesalers in 1885. We are now proud to continue this long history of appreciation for our precise timepieces. With the prime location of our new boutique on Neuer Wall, we look forward to offering watch enthusiasts in Hamburg a unique brand experience," says Chris Grainger-Herr, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen.

Kim-Eva Wempe adds: "With the opening of the new IWC boutique, we are once again emphasising our ongoing commitment to Hamburg as our home base. In collaboration with IWC Schaffhausen, we have created a place on Neuer Wall that reflects our partnership-based understanding of excellence and the art of watchmaking. In the boutique, we create experiences that go far beyond the product - a space for inspiration, encounters and individual values."

The boutique has a bar and a cosy lounge at the back where customers can enjoy a coffee or a drink while discovering IWC specialities such as functional complications, material innovations and new products.
There is also a large TV screen in the lounge that can be used for virtual tours of the manufacturing centre in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, as well as for live streams of events or meetings.
