TAG Heuer returns to the Goodwood Festival of Speed as Official Timekeeper

As one of the most famous motorsport events in the world, the Goodwood Festival of Speed once again complements TAG Heuer's automotive partnerships.

The motto of the 2025 event (10-13 July) is "The Winning Formula - Champions and Challengers" and celebrates the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, which is particularly fitting as TAG Heuer has taken over the role of Official Timekeeper of the premier class of motorsport from this season after the ten-year Rolex era.

The shared history of TAG Heuer and motorsport goes back much further, as does the expertise of today's LVMH brand in the field of chronograph timekeeping.

Ticking testimonies to the brand are the first chronograph for the dashboard (1911), the first chronograph with hundredths of a second (1916) and the first commercially available automatic chronograph (1969).

With a partnership portfolio that includes such well-known protagonists of the automotive world as Formula 1, Porsche, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Indianapolis 500, Automobile Club de Monaco and Carrera Panamericana, the return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed is only logical.

Goodwood - a tribute to motorsport and automotive culture

Tag Heuer ist Offizieller Zeitnehmer beim Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual motorsport event in West Sussex (England) and celebrates motorsport and automotive culture. The highlight is the legendary Hillclimb, where vehicles from all eras compete against each other on a 1.86 kilometre course with an average gradient of five percent.

In addition to the main mountain race, there is a forest rally stage and several paddocks with cars and motorbikes on various themes, including super sports cars, racing cars and historic vehicles. The festival also serves as the backdrop for numerous world premieres of new models from various manufacturers. Around 200,000 visitors come to the Goodwood Festival every year.

The festival watch: "Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed"

Based on the "Carrera" chronograph and powered by the in-house TH20-00 movement with an 80-hour power reserve in a 42-millimetre case that is water-resistant to ten bar, the Goodwood version plays with the codes of British automotive culture.

First and foremost, there is a dial in British Racing Green. This is complemented by a Clous de Paris pattern and red accents. The "Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed" is worn - how could it be otherwise - on a brown, perforated rally leather strap.

The limited edition of 100 units will initially be offered to members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club before going on general sale. (RRP £6,450, approx. €7,600)
