Three premieres: Longines presents Sylt Edition

The Swiss brand with the winged hourglass in its logo has clearly taken a shine to the stormy North Sea. At least, if you look at it from Sylt. For the fourth year in a row, Longines will be hosting a pop-up installation on the popular island this summer.

Three Sylt premieres from Longines

As every year, this includes an exclusive Sylt Edition, which will be available on Sylt, in the Longines online boutique, and in selected retailers throughout Germany from July 1, 2025. And for the first time, it's not a "Dolce Vita" model; for the first time, it's an automatic timepiece, and for the first time, you can choose between two watches – or opt for the duo. This makes it perfect for a matching look on your wrist.

The “Conquest Sylt Edition 2025”

The double pack belongs to the “Conquest” family – incidentally the first collection name that Longines trademarked back in 1954 – and consists of a 34- and a 41-millimeter model, each limited to 200 pieces.

The view from the front reveals the radiant blue dial with sunburst finish, applied indices and silver-plated polished hands.

L888 Longines

The back, thanks to its sapphire crystal caseback, offers fascinating insights into the mechanical inner workings. This consists of the L888 automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve and a monocrystalline silicon balance spring.

These are less sensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks than conventional springs, thus ensuring greater precision and longevity.

The stainless steel case features a screw-down crown and is water-resistant to ten bar. The larger version is secured to the wrist with a stainless steel strap, while the smaller version is secured with a blue rubber strap.
