Chrono24 continues its international growth strategy

The online watch platform Chrono24 has appointed José Gaztelu to the newly created position of Chief Growth Officer (CGO) as of July 1.

In this role, he manages Chrono24's global market development, focusing on core international markets, global marketing, brand presence, and new growth initiatives. He reports directly to CEO Carsten Keller.

Gaztelu brings more than 15 years of international leadership experience in scaling digital platforms and developing business models. Most recently, he was a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Nextdoor, one of the world's largest neighborhood platforms with over 100 million registered users. There, he was responsible for operations and corporate strategy in the US and international markets.

Previously, he held senior positions at Domestika, one of the world's largest learning platforms for creative professions; Houzz, the leading resource for home improvement; and Zalora, the largest online fashion retailer in Southeast Asia. He began his career at McKinsey & Company. Today, he also works as an investor and advisor to international startups.
