MeisterSinger wins the Red Dot Design Award 2025 with the new "Kaenos"
The Münster-based single-hand watch brand looks back on some eventful months this year—in a positive sense.
At the beginning of the year Tanja Brassler the management of the family business alongside founder Manfred Brassler, who has restructured and strategically realigned the company in recent years.

The debut at Watches & Wonders followed in April, where Meistersinger used the opportunity to present the new “Kaenos” product family to the global watch community.
"With the 'Kaenos', we want to make the single-hand watch even more accessible – a watch that proves itself as a reliable, uncomplicated companion in everyday life while simultaneously preserving the typical MeisterSinger character and the advantages of a single-hand watch," explained Manfred Brassler.

And this is also appreciated by the juries of the most important design competitions. After being awarded the iF Design Award Now, with the Red Dot, another international award for outstanding design follows. The "Kaenos" impressed in the "Product Design" category with its distinctive and harmonious design.
For MeisterSinger, this is already the 38th design award overall and the 15th Red Dot Design Award in the company's history.
Manfred Brassler comments: "With the 'Kaenos,' we have entered new design territory – within the framework of our design principles, but with a completely new formal language. The fact that the international Red Dot jury has recognized us for this is a wonderful confirmation and a great honor. For me, good design is never an end in itself, but rather an expression of attitude, clarity, and authenticity. That was precisely our goal with the Kaenos."

“Kaenos” offers four dial colors
The completely redesigned product family brings a significantly sportier touch to the brand's portfolio. With a 40-millimeter diameter and water resistance of up to 10 bar, the watches are also the perfect size for many wrists. The dial consists of two superimposed layers and is available in four color options: matte black and shimmering versions in gray, ice blue, and petrol.

You can also choose between a version with a large date display at 6 o'clock and an open-date version with an exposed date disc. The SW400 and SW200 Sellita watches ensure reliable operation.
