Brands on the UHRPHORIA

Part 1 – France

Uhrphoria has set out to establish a new dimension in watchmaking. It's therefore not surprising that the brands gathered under the Uhrphoria umbrella are also rethinking time. Instead of mainstream, they focus on profile, attitude, and genuine watchmaking craftsmanship from Germany, France, Finland, and Switzerland. From bold designs to mechanical refinement, these watch brands demonstrate that collecting is more than just status today—it's a statement.

Watches 1977

Watches 1977 stands for French watchmaking with character, heritage, and attitude. Manufactured in Alsace in a traditional family workshop, the brand combines artisanal precision with conscious design – and is entirely "Made in France," certified with the label Origine France Guarantee.

Why 1977? The brand thus bears the year of its foundation as its name, because this was the year in which the Maison Pierre Lannier in Alsace. The project was conceived by Pierre Burgun (2nd generation of the founding family) and, together with his daughter Laura, developed into an independent Watch brand “1977” expanded – as a homage to family history and craftsmanship.

Particularly exciting for collectors: The two model series Edmond (classic, 40 mm) and Arsene (sporty, 42.5 mm) are released in strictly limited editions of only 99 pieces each – numbered and with their own unique design.

Inside ticks a revised automatic movement from France Ébauches, the traditional French caliber manufacturer. Montres 1977 technically upgrades its movements – for example, with modern fine adjustment, a stop second hand, and precise final inspection in its own workshop.

In terms of design, Montres 1977 also focuses on attitude rather than hype: engravings with quotes from French writers, dials with historical references, and cases made of high-quality 904L steel make each watch a consciously chosen statement.
