Breitling presents its fifth sustainability report

Since 2020, Breitling has made sustainability a corporate goal and documents its progress in an annual sustainability report.

For the second year in a row, this report is based on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This framework for sustainability reporting developed by the European Union (EU) sets out detailed requirements for the disclosure of non-financial information, particularly with regard to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects.

CEO Georges Kern emphasizes:

"At Breitling, we create luxury that is accessible, casual, and sustainable. We offer compelling neo-luxury products that are sustainably produced and based on strong values. Together, we are a team with the mission to do better."

Aurelia Figueroa, Chief Sustainability Officer of Breitling, adds:

"The 2025 report is one of our most exciting yet. In it, we share the stories of community members with whom we have the opportunity to bring sustainable transformation to life. Over the past year, our efforts have intensified across all areas—community, nature, and governance. We are also proud to have received important awards for our achievements, underscoring the relevance and impact of our work."

Breitling Sustainability Report

A core element of the sustainability strategy is the use of gold from artisanal and small-scale mines, as well as lab-grown diamonds. This ensures complete traceability and transparency, while also supporting local businesses through the "Better Gold Fund" and the "Better Diamond Fund." These offer a voluntary premium of CHF 30 per carat of lab-grown diamond purchased and USD 1.35 per gram of gold for the respective suppliers.

Breitling also works closely with Swiss Better Gold (SBG) to create positive social and environmental impacts in mining areas.

For these and other sustainability efforts, Breitling was recognized with the Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, an award given to companies in the world's top one percent for their sustainability efforts.
