"Only HSV" - Jeweller Wempe becomes official co-partner of the Hamburg sports club

If football, then only HSV - for the Hamburg-based family business Wempe, no other football club was conceivable in terms of sports sponsorship than the "time-honoured Hamburg sports club", which has just been promoted back to the 1st Bundesliga.

Especially as the two Hanseatic "veterans" are almost the same age. While Wempe was founded in 1878, the kicking Rothosen were founded in 1887.

Now these two Hamburg institutions have come together. In the coming 2025/26 season, Wempe will support Hamburger SV as an official co-partner.

"We are delighted to once again have the support of a traditional Hamburg company," says HSV board member Dr Eric Huwer: "Wempe stands for tradition and embodies the same principles as HSV. Together, we want to carry these ideals forward and provide new impetus."
