Earrings are wonderful. They frame the face, become an immediate eye-catcher, inspire self-confidence, and—if chosen correctly—make such a strong statement that you could even do without other accessories. But as jewelry lovers, we certainly wouldn't. Here's a small selection of some truly special designs.

Earrings are a truly fantastic accessory. So versatile, adaptable, combinable, elegant, ladylike... 

Many of us probably missed the experience of wearing earrings, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. Face masks were simply in the way, things kept getting caught in elastic bands, and in general, the motivation to dress up had waned a bit during the pandemic. But afterward! Afterward, large, jingling, swinging statement earrings were in extreme demand again.

In fact, I personally find earrings to be the most interesting when it comes to fine accessories. This is mainly because earrings are usually at eye level. After all, people are most likely to look at their faces, and even necklaces are probably only noticed at second glance – unless they're a particularly striking statement piece.

Beautiful earrings can be so expressive that even a simple outfit of jeans and a T-shirt can suddenly look like high fashion. I actually wanted to dedicate this column specifically to fine jewelry, but to emphasize my point, I have to mention the "Lucent" earrings from Swarovski as a successful example. These crystal hoop earrings are available in four colors and in the Swarovski-typical octagonal shape. That's it. There's not much more to say, except that the crystal hoop earrings are a striking size. That's enough to make them the perfect eye-catcher—the outfit is complete. Pasquale Bruni With its "Giardini Segreti" collection, Giardini Segreti presents many breathtakingly beautiful ear jewelry designs in the shape of diamond-studded blossoms. A particularly eye-catching piece, however, is the version that elegantly wraps around the entire earlobe. The shape is organic, sensual, feminine, and reminds me of the jewelry of a fairy princess. Simply beautiful!

Another jewelry element that ensures absolute elegance is pearls.
