Vicenzaoro Preview: Leo Pizzo - blooming diamond artworks

Leo Pizzo produces high-quality diamond jewellery with a special character. During Vicenzaoro, the family-run company from Valenza will be presenting new items from the floral "Flora" collection. Founder Leonizo Pizzo talks to INSIGHT LUXURY about the Italian cultural heritage in jewellery and reveals which piece of jewellery from his collections he particularly loves.

In the realm of flowers and blossoms

The elegant "Flora" collection has been a bestseller from diamond jewellery brand Leo Pizzo for decades, but this year the brand has hit the bull's eye with it in particular, as floral designs are a trend in 2025. No wonder, as they not only look particularly romantic, but also impress with their sculptural, three-dimensional and very lively character.

This is why the "Flora" collection will also be the centre of attention during the September edition of Vicenzaoro. The floral designs are made of 18-karat gold in classic yellow, rosé or white, enhanced by a pavé of white diamonds, but also available in coloured versions with blue and pink sapphires.

The floral designs range from magnificent, multi-petalled rose blossoms to sparkling interpretations of camellia blossoms and three-petalled designs of stylised tradescantia. The blossoming world of diamonds and gemstones is just waiting to be discovered during the fair, as Leo Pizzo will also be presenting new designs for this popular collection.

IL: What is your personal favourite piece from your own collection?

LP: Each piece of jewellery from our "Flora" collection has its own unique story, but if I had to choose, I would go for the "Camelia" ring because for me it best represents our brand. It epitomises timeless elegance and shows our commitment to craftsmanship.

Even after 40 years, this ring is and remains a popular piece that triggers something in its wearer - symbolising both beauty and the unchanging quality of our work.
