"Neo J.E" by MeisterSinger: A tribute to the automotive design of the 1960s

Following the success of the "Edition Neo T1" in 2024, MeisterSinger is once again linking the popular vintage watch "Neo" with a legendary automobile from the 1960s.

For more than a decade, MeisterSinger's "Neo" with its 1960s retro design, narrow rim and curved glass has proven to be one of the Münster-based brand's bestsellers.

The Jaguar E-Type wrote automotive history in the same decade from which the "Neo J.E" seems to have sprung. It is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cars in the world, with a design that set new standards in the 1960s. The British Racing Green colour stands for the classically elegant appearance with this motorsport past.

With the "Neo" edition concept, MeisterSinger brings watch and automobile together. The current pairing, limited to 100 pieces, consists of the MeisterSinger timepiece and a 1:18 scale model car of the Jaguar E-Type, united in attractive special packaging that also serves as a stage for the harmonious duo.

Watch meets cult car

The cream-coloured dial of the "Neo J.E" is reminiscent of the interior and roof of the E-Type. The British Racing Green colour of the vehicle's exterior paintwork is reflected in subtle accents on the dial. The soft vintage saddle leather strap is also green with sporty decorative stitching. The cognac-coloured five-minute markers are inspired by the wooden steering wheel of the Jaguar E-Type, and the silver, multi-printed numerals are reminiscent of the chrome-plated rims of the cult Jaguar.

The "Neo J.E" is powered by the Swiss automatic movement SW200 from Sellita with a 38-hour power reserve. It is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 36 millimetres and water-resistant to 5 bar.
