Synergies in beauty and environmental awareness: Elisabeth Habig x Less is More

At the beginning of September, the Viennese organic cosmetics label Less is More invited visitors to its "Open Lab". There were not only high-quality natural cosmetics from Austria to discover, but also beautiful handmade jewellery with raw sapphires from the CO₂-neutral Ecomine in Sri Lanka. The cooperation between the two Viennese companies shows how successfully luxury and environmental awareness can go hand in hand.

United by the pursuit of beauty

Luxury is not just about the beautiful things we surround ourselves with, but also about well-being and the pursuit of inner beauty. Two disciplines that share a passion for high-quality raw materials and aesthetics have come together in Vienna: the goldsmith Elisabeth Habig and the Viennese organic cosmetics label Less is More.

The press event was hosted by Less is More, where visitors had the opportunity to discover the Viennese label's high-quality, environmentally friendly and certified organic cosmetic products while marvelling at the unique jewellery creations by Viennese goldsmith Elisabeth Habig. The connection fits: Even exquisite jewellery looks just that little bit more beautiful on healthy, well-groomed skin.

Focus on environmental awareness

Respect for nature and the desire to preserve it can be realised in a variety of ways with high-quality and sustainable products: Less is More offers natural cosmetics with high-quality ingredients, all of which are certified organic and have not been tested on animals. The active ingredient cosmetics consist of alpine plant extracts and pure natural essences, which were developed jointly by chemist and aromatherapist Dr Doris Brandhuber and hairstylist and trainer Hannes Trummer.

The focus of the last press day was on extraordinary jewellery creations with raw sapphires from Ecomine in Sri Lanka, the world's first self-sustaining and environmentally friendly sapphire mine that operates in a CO₂-neutral way. At the same time, the project is committed to improved working conditions, a good community and a good income for the miners in Sri Lanka.

Luxury and fairness across the board

Collaborations such as this one between Elisabeth Habig and Less is More show that luxury does not have to be burdened by unethical business practices, but that it is possible to enjoy high-quality products in a fair, environmentally and people-friendly way at all levels.

Elisabeth Habig and Less is More have captured the cooperation between fine jewellery and natural cosmetics with selected ingredients in a high-quality lookbook, where the designer's jewellery pieces are photographed together with the Less is More products.

The collaboration is a successful example of how the different facets of luxury products can be presented together and thus help each other to achieve new splendour.
