New look, new material: Luminox presents the Bear Grylls 3710 series
Luminox has released a new, robust watch model in its Bear Grylls series. Developed in collaboration with the British survival specialist, the new model not only features a new look but also an innovative and exceptionally lightweight material – the new ALUMI-NOX.

Robust, lightweight and stylish
The outdoor watches of the Bear Grylls series have never been seen like this before: The new model from the 3710 series is slimmer, more minimalist, and lighter, making it not only suitable for adventures in nature, but also almost has a sporty dress watch character.
The innovative new material is the lightweight and robust ALUMI-NOX alloy, an aluminum-based material also used in aerospace. The successful collaboration between Luminox and survival expert Bear Grylls dates back to 2020. Since then, the brand and the former military veteran have jointly developed more than 30 watch models that are robust, outdoor-ready, and built for the most adverse conditions in air and water – and feature a Swiss-made movement for even greater reliability.

Field Watch of a special kind
The new 3710 series is incredibly lightweight and represents a further tribute to Bear Grylls' passion for exploring and overcoming extreme challenges in the outdoors. The two new Luminox models in the Bear Grylls 3710 series are truly special. The distinctive FieldWatch design is combined with the rugged durability for which the Luminox brand has been known for decades. They feature a super-lightweight, aerospace-grade aluminum case, offering superior comfort for adventurers and explorers who spend extended periods in the wild. The innovative ALUMI-NOX case material offers excellent protection against the natural elements. Specifically developed for the aerospace sector, this aluminum is not only ultralight but also corrosion-resistant and forms a natural protective barrier against moisture. Furthermore, it is anti-magnetic, ensuring precise timekeeping even in challenging environments. Pierrick Marcoux, Group Product Director at Luminox, explains:
"The introduction of ALUMI-NOX represents a significant advance in our innovation of durable materials. This aerospace-grade aluminum offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, as well as high corrosion resistance and a modern finish—a decisive advantage for those who spend their lives primarily outdoors."
The contrasting sand-colored dials with a textured surface improve readability, while the legendary Luminox Light Technology (LLT), used for the hour markers, guarantees visibility in all lighting conditions.

The characteristic design elements of the Bear Grylls watches, such as the orange crown, the iconic Bear Grylls logo at 10 o'clock, and the Bear Grylls mantra "Never Give Up" engraved on the caseback, represent the special spirit of perseverance and adventure that defines the partnership. Available in sand or anthracite, the Swiss Made watch models feature a 43 mm case, a high-quality Swiss RONDA quartz movement, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and a sand-colored or black rubber strap. With a water resistance of 100 m (10 ATM) and a total of 14 LLTs for constant visibility, the Bear Grylls 3710 series is designed and particularly suitable for use day and night on land expeditions. Luminox has a long tradition of setting new standards for outdoor and tactical watches, and the new Bear Grylls 3710 series is the latest innovation for those who love adventure and enjoy pushing themselves to the limits in outdoor experiences.
