Let's go! Gemworld opens on Thursday

From October 23rd to 26th, the Mineralientage and the Munich Show will take place again in Munich. It's a jewelry and gemstone fair with a difference: with a focus on jewelry without labels, a gigantic selection of gemstones for self-discovery, a highly international exhibitor mix, and a public visitor day with a family program.

Discover, explore and find alternatives

Why should you visit a trade fair this year, and why should it be the Munich Show? Firstly, the trade fair's offerings have simply proven their worth. It's been around for more than 50 years, making it a true pillar of Munich's trade fair landscape. Since its early days, it has grown steadily and become increasingly international. The figures for 2024 are as follows:

  • 1,147 exhibitors
  • 67 nations
  • 50,000 square meters
  • 5 exhibition halls
  • 42,341 visitors

A large number of international exhibitors and visitors are expected again for the upcoming edition. With an exhibition mix of gemstones, minerals, fossils, unmarked jewelry, and jewelry components, the Munich Show offers many connecting factors that bring people from all over the world to Munich. It's the perfect opportunity to discover alternative sources of supply, check prices, meet new suppliers, and network in these economically uncertain times.

The fact that Gemworld also presents the minerals that are later refined into gemstones in their raw form promotes awareness and understanding of these special natural treasures. The exchange with collectors and experts brings visitors closer to the material and cultural significance of international mineral resources and leads to increased appreciation.

A few program highlights of the trade fair

The program awaiting visitors – Thursday and Friday are reserved for trade visitors, while Saturday and Sunday are open to all visitors – includes exciting expert presentations in the forum area of the fair, the Young Designers Corner competition for young talents, and the finalists will exhibit their creations at the Munich Show.

In addition to a variety of minerals, gemstones, jewelry, and jewelry pieces, there are also meteorites and fossils such as those of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures to discover, which are still being researched during the fair.

In the "Art Corner," there's a small exhibition dedicated to the world of minerals. The specially curated special exhibitions at the Munich Show are a popular destination for visitors, offering fascinating new perspectives on minerals, gemstones, and fossils each year.

There's also a bit of DIY jewelry fun to be had: Trendwerkk, the leading supplier of jewelry accessories, offers an activity area where you can make your own jewelry on-site with tips from professionals – whether you're a beginner or already familiar with the subject, this creative experience is for everyone.
