Venezianico Arsenale Sumi-e 墨絵 – When time becomes ink painting
Venezianico Arsenale Sumi-e – A Bridge between Venice and Japan
With the new Venezianico Arsenale Sumi-e The independent Italian brand presents a model that combines artistic tradition and technical precision. Limited to 500 pieces, the watch interprets the historical ties between Venice and the Far East in the form of a timepiece that unites craftsmanship, culture, and contemplation.
A dial made of Japanese washi paper

Crafted from Japanese washi paper and executed in a five-step pad print, the dial captures the aesthetics of Zen painting. Mountains and blossoming branches are reflected in a tranquil waterscape; every shade of black remains perceptible through the texture of the paper. Each print layer is final—a homage to the discipline of this traditional painting technique.
Design between lightness and structure
The 40 mm case, made of 316L stainless steel, combines satin-finished and polished surfaces. At 9.95 mm thick (including anti-reflective sapphire crystal), the watch wears flat, and the red rubber strap adds a striking accent.
Technology with Japanese precision
Inside works the automatic caliber Miyota 9039The screw-down case back is water-resistant to 50 m and features engravings that reference the sumi-e tradition. The limited edition is consecutively numbered (1–500).
A limited edition with cultural depth
The Arsenale Sumi-e sees itself as a cultural dialogue between East and West: a timepiece that combines precision with the meditative tranquility of Far Eastern art.
