“Kaenos” by MeisterSinger: Two new versions in yellow and black
The Münster-based brand MeisterSinger, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year and also Inhorgenta returning, presents two new variants of their "Kaenos" model.
The new MeisterSinger collection was launched at this year's Watches & Wonders and was followed shortly afterwards by the iF Design Award excellent.
Now follow two further versions of the “Kaenos”, which MeisterSinger founder Manfred Brassler describes as follows:
"With the 'Kaenos', we want to make the single-hand watch even more accessible – a watch that proves itself as a reliable, uncomplicated companion in everyday life while simultaneously preserving the typical MeisterSinger character and the advantages of a single-hand watch," explained Manfred Brassler.
At first glance, the two models, each limited to 50 pieces, have many similarities: There is the black DLC-coated case with a 40-millimeter diameter, the grained leather strap – a novelty in the “Kaenos” family – in black or yellow, and the yellow sunburst dial.

The latter consists of two superimposed layers: In the upper, yellow layer, numerals and hour markers are neatly cut out. This reveals a second layer, which is white around the hour markers and black in the area of the numerals.
This design creates a three-dimensional depth, enhances the contrast and, thanks to the luminous color, ensures comfortable readability – both during the day and in the dark.

Despite all the similarities, the most obvious difference is also visible on the dial. Besides the single-hand time display, the date can be read either in a window at 6 o'clock or, in the open-date version, below the 12 o'clock position.

The movement behind it can be seen through the four-screw case backs. In the case of the date window, this is a Sellita SW400, while the version with an open date wheel uses the SW200. Both offer a 38-hour power reserve.
