„Tangente“ and „Ludwig“ in gold: Timeless values from Nomos for the here and now
For the production of the new gold models „Tangente“ and „Ludwig“, Nomos Glashütte uses exclusively gold with a Chain of Custody certification from the renowned Responsible Jewellery Council.
Golden Tangent Trio

The Nomos design classic is now available with a case made of 18-karat solid gold and a diameter of 35 millimeters – a universally wearable size. At just 6.9 millimeters thick, the elegant watch also sits comfortably on the wrist and can be worn effortlessly under a shirt or blouse cuff.

The three different dial variations underline how versatile the straightforward design of the „Tangente“ is: classic with blued hands on a white-silver-plated dial, sophisticated with gold hands on a silver-white background, or as a special version with a black ruthenium dial and gold hands.

The radiant cornflower blue of the "Tangente Gold neomatik" is achieved in keeping with traditional watchmaking techniques by heating the dial to 290°C. This highlights the elegant design of the dial and simultaneously improves the legibility of the 18-karat gold dress watch. The "Tangente Gold neomatik Doré," on the other hand, also features gold hands. And the "Tangente Gold neomatik Ruthenium" owes its deep black dial to the use of ruthenium, an element from the platinum group metals. This creates a striking contrast to the gold case and the other gold accents of this watch.

The slim neomatik automatic caliber DUW 3001 powers the watch's inner workings. It boasts a range of sophisticated features, including a bidirectional winding rotor, a 43-hour power reserve, and the Nomos Swing System – the in-house escapement. The sapphire crystal case back offers a view of the precise interplay of all components and their elaborate finishing.

With this „Tangente“ trio, Nomos demonstrates that traditional gold and modernity can go hand in hand and create timeless values.
„"We don't produce status symbols, but true values for a lifetime."“

Golden Ludwig Duet
For those who prefer a more traditional aesthetic than the "Tangente," Nomos Glashütte has created two further 35-millimeter timepieces with Roman numerals and a railway-style minute track on the dial: the "Ludwig Gold" and the "Ludwig Gold Doré." The warm shimmer of 18-karat gold, combined with a choice of blued or gold hands, lends these models a commanding presence.

The Nomos Glashütte DUW 4001 hand-wound caliber sets the pace for all sizes. It is also equipped with the Glashütte brand's swing system and offers a 53-hour power reserve.
