Belgian brand Ressence presents its first rose gold edition
The Ressence brand was founded in 2010, and each of its creations immediately reveals the brand's two main characteristics: exceptional, crownless design and rotating circles. This also applies to the new "Type 1 Round Rose Gold," limited to 70 pieces, with a rose gold coating.

„"Rose gold lends our design language a special warmth and a distinctive character."“
Ressence founder Benoît Mintiens
The Antwerp-based brand Ressence has already released several design variations of this model since the introduction of the original „Type 1“ in 2014.

„The ‚Type 1‘ is very popular with new customers because it is both accessible and unique – neither ostentatious nor understated. This rose gold edition, with its unique sunburst dial, sandblasted case ring and bezel, and guilloché discs, gives this classic soul without compromising the essential character of the original ‚Type 1‘,“ explains Benoît Mintiens.

Simplicity through innovation
„The ‚Type 1‘ has always been about making complexity intuitively tangible,“ Mintiens adds, referring to the design that replaces traditional hands with rotating discs.

The convex dial of the "Type 1 Round Rose Gold" features a 4N rose gold coating. Three flush, inclined discs display the hour, seconds, and day of the week. The engraved indicators are filled with Grade A Super-LumiNova.
At the heart of the design is Ressence's patented ROCS 1.3 module (Ressence Orbital Convex System), powered by the minute axis of a modified base automatic caliber 2892 with a 36-hour power reserve. It features rotating discs that display the time in two dimensions. It is protected by a 42.7 mm titanium case.

The „Type 1 Round Rose Gold“ is worn on a light grey suede strap. „The grey strap was a deliberate choice,“ explains Mintiens. „We wanted something that complemented the rose gold without competing with it; something modern and versatile.“
