noën Jewellery is the winner of the German Sustainability Award
The German Sustainability Award is considered Europe's largest award for ecological and social commitment. This year, the company was awarded the prize. noën Jewellery awarded, which was founded in 2006 by Claudia and Malte Schindler in Keltern near Pforzheim.
„Almost twenty years ago, we embarked on a path with noën that was unprecedented in the jewelry industry. Even then, we knew that everything we created leaves a mark. Often deep marks on our planet and on the lives of approximately 150 million people who are directly or indirectly dependent on small-scale mining,“ the couple explains their decision to offer only jewelry that is 100 percent fairly produced.
Today, noën works exclusively with fully traceable precious metals from Fairmined-certified mines.
These mines stand for safe jobs, fair wages, the responsible use of toxic chemicals, and investment in local communities.

This approach has now been recognized by Europe's most prestigious sustainability award.
