LVMH has acquired Les Editions Croque Futur
The French luxury goods group LVMH has announced that it will acquire 100 percent of the shares of the French publishing house as of December 30, 2025. This further expands LVMH's media power.
LVMH is integrating the publications Challenges, Sciences & Avenir and La Recherche into its holding company UFIPAR, which already owned shares in the French publisher before the takeover, through Les Editions Croque Futur.
Following the acquisition, Les Editions Croque Futur will intensify the further development and distribution of its three publications, with a greater focus on digital formats.
„This underlines LVMH’s commitment to promoting high-quality information and scientific culture and making it accessible to a wider audience,“ LVMH said.
As part of this transaction, Maurice Szafran, a long-time advisor to the publishing house founder Claude Perdriel, was appointed president of Les Editions Croque Futur.
LVMH further expands its media power
