Elka Watch Co. is committed to the women's rally Aïcha des Gazelles 2026

The Swiss watch brand Elka has partnered with Team GAS'elles (Team 101) for the 35th edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc (March 27 to April 11, 2026). To mark this partnership, Elka is presenting a limited special edition inspired by traditional Moroccan mosaic art (zellige). Proceeds will benefit the Zoé4life association and the team's funding.

The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc is an international off-road rally exclusively for women, held annually in the Moroccan desert since 1990. This year, the watch brand Elka is participating.

The Elka project originated from an encounter with Team GAS'elles, consisting of Alexia and Sheeba. These two friends are taking on the challenge of a lifetime: navigating the Moroccan desert entirely by women, using traditional methods (without GPS). Beyond their athletic achievement, the team is also competing for Zoé4life – a Swiss organization that supports children with cancer and their families.

Elka and the „Le Temps du Zellige“: A tribute to Morocco

To celebrate this connection, Elka presents the special edition „Le Temps du Zellige,“ limited to 101 pieces, whose dial is inspired by the art of Zellige, the traditional Moroccan mosaic of glazed terracotta. This complex geometric pattern, reinterpreted with the precision of Neuchâtel watchmaking, symbolizes resilience and the creation of precious moments.

The 40.8 mm stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, houses the La Joux Perret G100 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve. (RRP CHF 1716 excl. VAT)

Elka and a solidarity-based sales model

Elka has developed a specific support concept to maximize the impact of this collaboration:

• Auction for Zoé4life: Watch number 001/101 of the special edition will be auctioned off at an exclusive evening event. All proceeds will go directly to the Zoé4life association to fund cancer research and support affected families.
• Direct support for the team: The other timepieces in the collection are available for purchase. A portion of the profit from each watch sold goes directly towards financing Alexia and Sheeba's rally, ensuring Team 101 can start under optimal conditions.
