Tissot deepens partnership with the NBA and WNBA
With the NBA Berlin Game 2026 and NBA London Game 2026, presented by Tissot, world-class basketball came to Europe. As part of this event, the Orlando Magic faced the Memphis Grizzlies in two regular-season games on January 15th and 18th in Berlin and London.
And the Tissot/NBA tour continues. After Paris in 2025 and this year's stops in Berlin and London, the partnership will return to the French capital next year and expand to Manchester, opening new stages for showcasing world-class basketball.
Moritz and Franz Wagner: new Tissot brand ambassadors
In Berlin, the addition of Moritz and Franz Wagner to the Tissot brand ambassador family was also announced. For the brothers, who play for the Orlando Magic, this was practically a homecoming, as they hail from the German capital.

Sylvain Dolla, CEO of Tissot, commented: „Their story is a perfect fit for Tissot. Time and determination are the path to success, whether in watchmaking or on the basketball court. The Wagner brothers embody these values and represent the next generation of international basketball excellence. Their success is the result of talent, perseverance, and discipline, which aligns perfectly with Tissot’s philosophy.“
Moritz, the older brother, made a name for himself at the University of Michigan before moving to the NBA, where he has developed into a reliable frontcourt player known for his energy and tenacity as well as his leadership qualities.
Franz followed a similar path, also playing at the University of Michigan before being drafted in 2021. He quickly developed into a rising star, impressing with his versatility, shooting accuracy, and defensive awareness.
For the right playing rhythm – the „throwing watch“ from Tissot
The new „Throwing watch“ by Tissot, which will be present in all NBA and WNBA arenas this season, was developed in collaboration with the NBA and features the world's first round "throwing watch" design, combining modern aesthetics with Tissot's technical expertise.

The shot clock is a time display that shows the remaining seconds until the end of the shot clock (24 seconds in the NBA and the German Basketball Bundesliga, 35 seconds in US college basketball).
In the final five seconds, there are also audible signals. The shot clock was introduced in the NBA in 1954 to increase the speed and thus the excitement of the game.
„Supersport NBA Special Edition“ and „Seastar Wilson WNBA Powermatic“
The „Supersport NBA Special Edition“ is a 45mm chronograph in black PVD, inspired by the aesthetics of the sport. The model features jersey-style numerals on the dial, basketball-inspired textured details, and a bezel reminiscent of a 24-second shot clock.

The NBA logo is featured on the second hand, while the engraved black case highlights all the league's teams by latitude. The watch is powered by a durable quartz movement with anti-reflective glass.
It was initially launched in the United States and France. Since then, it has crossed borders, just like the game itself, and appeals to fans all over the world.

In addition, Tissot also offers official timepieces of the Women's National Basketball Association with the "Seastar Wilson WNBA Powermatic" and the quartz editions.
These models feature the league's white and orange details, interchangeable straps made from Wilson's official WNBA basketball material, and rotating bezels that also evoke the 24-second shot clock.
