Gerald Charles wins over tennis pro Alex De Minaur as brand ambassador

Gerald Charles is pleased to announce the new collaboration with Australian tennis star Alex De Minaur – ranked No. 6 in the ATP world rankings. De Minaur has consciously chosen to partner with an independent watch brand.

Since his professional debut in 2015, Alex De Minaur has become internationally known for his speed, defensive skills and relentless intensity on the pitch – qualities that have earned him the nickname „Demon“ among fans and colleagues.

In July 2024, he achieved his best ranking to date in the ATP singles world rankings, reaching number 6, thus consolidating his status as Australia's leading tennis player of the last 20 years.

Alex De Minaur has reached the quarterfinals of Grand Slam tournaments multiple times, including the US Open (2020, 2024, 2025), the French Open (2024), Wimbledon (2024) and the Australian Open (2025).

Alex De Minaur is currently back on the court at the Australian Open in Melbourne, wearing the "Maestro GC Sport Tennis," a striking watch from Gerald Charles' "GC Sport" collection, limited to 200 pieces and already sold out. It was presented last year at the Watches & Wonders.

Designed and developed in collaboration with professional athletes, the "GC Sport" collection is crafted from Grade 5 titanium and is the brand's lightest watch. For enhanced comfort during intense activity, the model features a screw-down crown on the left side and meets the Ergonteq standard, a concept developed by Gerald Charles for optimal comfort, ergonomics, and performance.
