Jewelry in 2026 is far more than a decorative element. It becomes part of a personal expression – powerful, confident, and yet balanced. Current trends reveal a new equilibrium: jewelry is present without being loud, opulent without being overpowering. Personality, individuality, and diversity are no longer abstract concepts, but rather shape design, material selection, and wearability in very concrete ways.
There have already been several forecasts this year regarding jewelry trends for 2026 (including ours), and it looks like these are coming true. At least, that's what a look at the collections being shown at INHORGENTA in Munich from February 20th onwards suggests:
Jewelry in 2026 is far more than a decorative element. It becomes part of a personal expression – powerful, confident, and yet balanced. Current trends reveal a new equilibrium: jewelry is present without being loud, opulent without being overpowering. Personality, individuality, and diversity are no longer abstract concepts, but rather shape design, material selection, and wearability in very concrete ways.
This attitude is reflected in the collections, which are based on the INHORGENTA Become visible. Modular concepts, adaptable elements, and flexible constructions allow for active participation in the design of jewelry and individual expression. Jewelry reacts to the wearer, not the other way around – it adapts, accompanies, and underscores personal identity.

Formal language between structure and movement
A central theme of the season is the interplay of clarity and dynamism. Jewelry is increasingly sculptural and deliberately contrasts with minimalist silhouettes. Physicality plays a key role: forms capture movement, lines follow the rhythm of the body, and surfaces interact with light and depth.
Pleated structures, organic lines, graphic volumes, and kinetic details characterize rings, bangles, and necklaces. Movable settings, modular connections, and ergonomic designs lend the jewelry a sense of vibrancy – it is not static, but rather engages in a dialogue with the wearer.
This development is also reflected in diverse collections: Whether at Noen, Niessing or Nanis, where jewelry emphasizes the wearer's individuality through sculptural lines and fluid design – jewelry becomes an expression of individual identity.

Color and material as design elements
The use of color is also changing noticeably. Gemstones are appearing more prominently as a design element – not only as a source of value, but also as a deliberate color choice. Nuances of green, blue, pink, or warm natural tones are being used strategically, often in harmonious combinations or striking contrasts.
Material mixing remains an important means of expression: different gold tones, matte and polished surfaces, and the deliberate use of texture expand the design language. Jewelry tells stories – through color, material, and symbolism.

Wearability as a quality feature
Alongside creative freedom, the demand for comfort is growing. Jewelry must feel good, be easy to wear, and be suitable for everyday life. Soft silhouettes, ergonomic shapes, and well-thought-out designs ensure that elegance and practicality are no longer mutually exclusive.
This development represents a concept of jewelry that creates intimacy: pieces that don't appear staged, but rather become a natural part of life.

Layering, material mix and personal interpretation

Layering and combining different materials remain key stylistic elements. Multiple necklaces, stacked rings, or mixed gold tones open up new possibilities for individual looks. Jewelry is not just worn, but interpreted – depending on mood, occasion, or personal style.

Jewelry as a reflection of individual freedom
The jewelry trends of 2026 represent a new openness in design. They combine craftsmanship with contemporary ideas of individuality, movement, and wearability. On the INHORGENTA This development becomes tangible: as a platform where creative diversity, craftsmanship and personal expression come together – and show how jewelry redefines freedom, identity and intimacy today.
