A family affair – the Milanese manufacturer Brusi values close ties.

Tradition is of great importance in the jewelry industry. At Brusi, a third-generation family business, the term stands not only for accumulated expertise, but also for a personal connection to the craft and the employees.
The three grandchildren of the founders remember visiting and overhearing technical discussions in their grandfather's workshop and at their mother's family jewelry store. Because the siblings initially pursued very different paths – architecture, economics, and linguistics – they complemented each other well in managing the Brusi company, which has long since achieved international renown.

Brusi: Gemstones as inspiration
They also agree on the importance of using new technology if it helps the company grow. However, they are certain that the essence of jewelry will always remain human – and they are proud that many of the artisans stay with Bruni for many years, working together to create the company's products.
Over the years, the team has changed its approach. It no longer begins with a fully developed idea; the jewelry is created inspired by and around the individual gemstones. This also applies to the "Shakes" collection, which Brusi is presenting at Inhorgenta.
