Luminox presents the limited-edition NSF 3500 The Guardian

The “NSF 3500 The Guardian” is a tactical watch with which Luminox honors the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF). The Swiss brand has been a partner of the U.S. nonprofit organization, which supports Navy SEALs and their families, since 2020.

The “NSF 3500 The Guardian” is available in a limited edition of 961 pieces, featuring an impressive 45-millimeter case. The case, water-resistant to 20 bar, is made of Carbonox, a carbon-based material used exclusively by Luminox that is lightweight, hypoallergenic, and exceptionally durable and robust. It is complemented by a unidirectional rotating bezel, also made of Carbonox. Inside, a reliable quartz movement from Ronda keeps time.

Luminox’s connection to the NSF is clearly visible on the dial. The organization’s logo—an eagle and a trident—is prominently displayed at the 6 o’clock position, coated with Superluminova. Luminox Light Technology (LLT) provides additional luminosity, ensuring constant readability even in complete darkness. It glows in a combination of blue and yellow, inspired by the Navy SEAL Foundation logo.

“From the very beginning, this watch was conceived more as a tribute than as a product,” says Pierrick Marcoux, Group Product Director at Luminox.

“The Navy SEAL Foundation does extraordinary work in supporting service members. With ‘The Guardian,’ we wanted to create something that symbolically reflects this mission: a watch that literally brings light into the darkness, thereby expressing respect, remembrance, and ongoing support.”

The global limited edition of “The Guardian,” limited to 961 copies, pays homage to the year 1961, when the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams were officially founded.
