Corum Returns with New Releases Following the Buyout

Corum relaunches with multiple new releases at Watches & Wonders 2026 following management buyout

Almost exactly a year ago, Haso Mehmedovic announced a global relaunch following his management buyout. Now the brand has made a comeback, unveiling the new models from the “Admiral,” “Golden Bridge,” and “Heritage” collections during an exclusive preview at its manufacturing facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

“It would be easy to say, ‘Corum is back.’ But that wouldn’t be entirely accurate. Corum has been here continuously since 1955—free-spirited, unconventional, always creative, and often defiant,” says CEO Haso Mehmedovic. “Today, I have the pleasure—and above all, the honor—of serving as the guardian of this icon from La Chaux-de-Fonds. The address remains the same. The building is still unique. And the determination to continue an extraordinary adventure that began exactly 70 years ago remains unbroken.”

Mehmedovic joined Corum as a watchmaker in 2011. “I have dedicated my entire career to these masterpieces of watchmaking—the ‘Golden Bridge,’ the ‘Admiral,’ the ‘Coin,’ and many others. Our heritage is extraordinary: we have 350 museum pieces, each one a testament to vision, design, and complexity. In short: a history. And it is precisely this history that we now want to continue writing,” he emphasizes.

7-Point Strategy Focuses on Continuity

  1. A clear product strategy, along with a reduction in the number of models, to focus on the flagship models “Admiral” and “Golden Bridge.” At the same time, the “Heritage” line will be launched.
  2. The gradual return to 100 percent in-house manufacturing in order to regain full autonomy in watchmaking.
  3. Presence at Watches & Wonders: “Corum is one of the leading players in haute horlogerie—there’s no doubt about that.” Participating in Watches & Wonders is therefore a logical step.
  4. A focused distribution network and a focus on high-quality retail partners, combined with a reduction in points of sale from over 300 in 2024 to 70.
  5. The development of a clear visual identity through the Corum key.
  6. The appointment of a visionary designer to revitalize the brand: Emmanuel Gueit, the man behind some of the greatest achievements in watchmaking over the past 25 years.
  7. A clear message and DNA: Corum—a brand with over 70 years of history yet still youthful at heart, nestled among centuries-old watchmaking traditions.

Corum: 19 New Releases for Watches & Wonders 2026

At Watches & Wonders 2026, Corum will present eleven new “Admiral” models based on four key innovations: a redesigned case, new dials, a new integrated bracelet, and a completely new caliber developed in collaboration with its partner Concepto in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

These new models completely replace the previous “Admiral” collection and include six models with a 39-millimeter diameter and five models with a 36-millimeter diameter.

At the same time, Corum is introducing six new “Golden Bridge Sapphire” models: three models, each available in two versions—one in white gold and one in 5N gold. A common feature is the new case made entirely of sapphire crystal—the first of its kind for a “Golden Bridge”—which revives the transparency of earlier versions of the model.

In addition, there are two new “Heritage” models: a new “Coin” and a reissue of the “Golden Book.” Both are produced in strictly limited annual editions.
