Bucherer x H. Moser & Cie.

The joint project between Bucherer and H. Moser & Cie. is called the “Pioneer Tourbillon Miami,” named after the city in South Florida, whose signature colors are turquoise and pink—clearly reflected in the new limited-edition timepiece, produced in a run of just 28 pieces, by the jeweler and the Swiss watch brand.

The turquoise-blue fumé dial features a rich color gradient, surrounded by a bezel in bright pink. Leaf-shaped hour and minute hands with green Super-LumiNova ensure easy readability while adding a striking accent to the interplay of colors.

The technical highlight on the otherwise minimalist dial is the flying one-minute tourbillon at 6 o’clock, featuring a skeletonized bridge. Like all tourbillon models from H. Moser & Cie., this edition is also equipped with an in-house-manufactured double balance spring.

Inside, the watch is powered by the automatic in-house caliber HMC 805, featuring a bidirectional pawl winding mechanism and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The power reserve is at least three days. The 18-karat gold oscillating weight is engraved with the H. Moser logo and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

The 40-millimeter stainless steel case, which is water-resistant to 12 bar, measures 10.4 millimeters in height without the sapphire crystal and 12 millimeters with the domed sapphire crystal.

The “Pioneer Tourbillon Miami” comes with a pink and a white rubber strap and is available at select Bucherer boutiques. (MSRP: €69,300)
