Alexander Awards for Creative Watch Marketing: Submission Period Has Begun

The Alexander Awards, founded by Time-to-Watches founder Christian Wipfli, specifically shine a spotlight on those who give the art of watchmaking a voice through images, stories, campaigns, and experiences.

The submission period for the first Alexander Awards has begun: watch brands, agencies, content creators, photographers, filmmakers, retailers, media representatives, influencers, and up-and-coming talent are invited to submit their work.

The name “Alexander Awards” was chosen deliberately: Inspired by Alexander the Great, the award stands for visionary thinking, strategic reach, and cultural influence across borders—values that also shape the communications of leading watch brands.

After all, in a world of constant sensory overload, technology and design alone are no longer the sole determinants of a watch’s success. Storytelling, visual appeal, and creative formats now play a decisive role in shaping perception and desirability. Yet this key area has lacked its own platform until now. The Alexander Awards fill this gap—not only as a competition, but also as a platform for exchange, inspiration, and networking within the industry.

Eight categories and one award for the best of the year

Awards are presented for outstanding work in eight categories: Campaigns, Digital & Social Content, Photography, Video, Experiences, Collaborations & Influence, Responsible Initiatives, and Technological Innovation.

In addition, “The Great!” honors the most impressive project of the year—regardless of category, but with maximum impact. Another focus is on participation and promoting young talent: The “Public Choice Award” honors the work that attracts the largest audience, while the “Young Talent” category gives young creatives from communication, marketing, and design schools the opportunity to showcase their visions.

The awards ceremony will take place on December 2 in Geneva.
