Blancpain: Fifty Fathoms Tech
In the 1950s, Blancpain introduced the unidirectional rotating bezel, which can be used to measure the time spent underwater—a feature that can save lives and is now an essential component of every modern dive watch. In 2023, Blancpain further developed the bezel into a 3-hour bezel for extended dives lasting two, three, or more hours. A classic 60-minute bezel is simply not sufficient for this purpose. To address this, Blancpain adapted the GMT function—traditionally a 24-hour mechanism—so that it rotates within three hours. The result is a 3-hour hand with a corresponding scale that allows for precise tracking of the total dive duration. The new “Fifty Fathoms Tech” is equipped with this very 3-hour bezel.

Blancpain: “Ladybird Tribute”
To mark the 100th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s birth, Blancpain is presenting seven one-of-a-kind pieces from the “Ladybird Tribute” collection. The inspiration came from a personal jewelry watch belonging to the Hollywood icon, which was acquired by the brand in 2016. The new creation incorporates the characteristic elements of the original watch: an opaline dial, applied hour markers, conical yellow gold hands, and the geometric Art Deco case. Each model bears a letter from the name MARILYN, individually engraved on the case back.

Longines: Mini DolceVita
