LVMH Reports Steady Profits and Organic Growth
The French luxury goods group LVMH reported revenue of 38.6 billion euros in the first half of 2026.
This represents a decline of three percent compared with the same period last year. On an organic basis—that is, at constant exchange rates and adjusted for changes in the scope of consolidation—revenue, however, increased by two percent. Net income remained stable at 5.7 billion euros compared with the previous year.
In the second quarter of 2026, LVMH reported organic revenue growth of 3 percent. The main drivers of growth were the recovery in the Wines & Spirits division and the strong performance in the Watches & Jewelry segment. The latter achieved organic revenue growth of 11 percent.
LVMH’s latest figures could be another sign of a gradual recovery in the luxury industry. Competitor Richemont also reported a significant 20 percent increase in revenue for the period from April through June 2026. The Swatch Group also reported sales growth of 8.5 percent for the first half of 2026.
