Phillips' Fall 2026 Auction: Rolex Records and Geneva Collectibles

Phillips is setting its sights on Geneva and London for the fall 2026 auction season: The auction of four unique Rolex Daytonas for charity will be followed in November by the Geneva Watch Auction XXIV, featuring approximately 220 collector’s watches and a dedicated section for the Pucci Papaleo Collection.

Geneva Watch Auction XXIV, featuring approximately 220 lots

On November 7 and 8, 2026, Phillips will hold the Geneva Watch Auction XXIV in Geneva. The auction will feature approximately 220 historic and modern watches. Among the top lots announced are a Patek Philippe Reference 1436, a Rolex Reference 6062, and a Patek Philippe Reference 2497.

In addition, timepieces by independent watchmakers will go under the hammer. Phillips mentions, among others, watches by F.P. Journe, Roger Smith, and Kari Voutilainen. The range thus spans from rare historical models by the major Geneva brands to contemporary independent watchmaking.

Pucci Papaleo Collection: 16 Rolex Chronographs

A separate section of the Geneva auction is dedicated to the Pucci Papaleo Collection. The first 16 watches on offer trace the evolution of the Rolex chronograph from the 1930s through the 1970s. Papaleo has studied these models for more than three decades and has published seminal works such as “I Cronografi Rolex – La Leggenda” and “Ultimate Rolex Daytona.”

Among the key lots are an early Reference 3525 “Bariletto,” a Reference 3335 in rose gold, the presumably one-of-a-kind square Reference 3830, and two rare “Paul Newman” Daytonas. The selection features various case shapes and dial variations from the period before and after the introduction of the Cosmograph Daytona.

Four Rolex Daytonas fetch 37.3 million pounds

On September 28, 2026, Phillips auctioned four unique Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches in London. The one-of-a-kind watches, inspired by the seasons, fetched a combined total of 37.3 million pounds. Since no buyer’s premium was charged at the charity auction, the entire amount will go to the Roger Federer Foundation and Re:wild, the conservation organization co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Daytona “Spring” sold for 6.8 million pounds. “Winter” fetched 10 million pounds, “Autumn” sold for 10.2 million, and “Summer” for 10.3 million pounds. All four watches are equipped with the Caliber 4131 and offer a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Precious-metal cases, natural-stone dials, and accents of diamonds, sapphires, or tourmalines distinguish the four models from one another.
