Luminox × Red Bull Ampol Racing: Chronograph, Limited to 500 Pieces

Luminox is celebrating its partnership with Red Bull Ampol Racing with a limited-edition chronograph: the Red Bull Ampol Racing XS.3581.ARB.N Limited Edition combines a 45-millimeter Carbonox case with a dial whose sub-dials are reminiscent of the instruments and speedometer in a race car. The model is limited to 500 individually numbered pieces.

Cockpit-style chronograph counters

The connection to motorsports is most evident on the dial. The chronograph minute, hour, and small-second displays are designed to resemble instrument panels and speedometers. Blue, red, and yellow echo the colors of the Australian racing team; its logo is also featured on the dial.

Another standout feature is the gold-colored push-pull crown made of IP-coated 316L stainless steel. It contrasts with the black Carbonox case and the unidirectional rotating bezel. Thanks to the composite material, the watch weighs just 80 grams despite its 45-millimeter diameter.

Ronda quartz movement and split-time measurement

Inside, the watch is powered by the Swiss Ronda 5030.D quartz movement. It drives the chronograph with split-time measurement as well as the date display. The specified battery life is 54 months. The case is 15 millimeters thick and water-resistant to 200 meters; it is covered by tempered mineral glass.

To ensure readability in the dark, Luminox uses 15 elements of its Light Technology. The self-luminous tubes require no external light source and are designed to remain visible for up to 25 years. Super-LumiNova enhances the illumination on the small chronograph hands.

500 numbered copies

The screw-down case back is made of stainless steel and features the Red Bull Ampol Racing logo as well as the individual number of each watch. A blue EPDM rubber strap with a lug width of 24 millimeters and a black stainless steel clasp complements the dial’s color scheme.

The collaboration brings together the Swiss watch brand and the Australian Supercars team.
