OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M: Bond and the Other Side

OMEGA has been part of the world of James Bond for more than three decades. What was previously reserved primarily for 007 now has a counterpart: for the first time, the mysterious organization Spectre is getting its own Seamaster Diver 300M. The new Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre Collection presents both sides side by side.

The focus is on two standard Seamaster Diver 300M models made of stainless steel. Both measure 42 millimeters, feature a brushed mesh bracelet, and are powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806. The differences are evident in the bezel, dial, and case back.

James Bond in Blue

The James Bond edition, reference 210.30.42.20.03.004, is clearly defined by its choice of colors and materials. The dial is made of blue aluminum and features the laser-engraved wave pattern typical of the Seamaster Diver 300M. It is complemented by a Grade 5 titanium bezel.

The back also draws on the world of Bond. The rotor features the gun barrel graphic, one of the most recognizable motifs in the film series.

Technically, the watch closely resembles the Seamaster Diver 300M. It measures 42 millimeters and is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806. It is worn on a brushed mesh bracelet.

Spectre in Black

The Spectre version, reference 210.30.42.20.01.023, features a significantly darker design. The bezel is made of black ceramic, and the dial is blackened and grained.

On the back, the Spectre emblem appears on the rotor. This makes it clear which model it is, even when looking at the movement.

Here, too, the case measures 42 millimeters. Inside, it is also powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806. This model is also worn on a brushed mesh bracelet.

Two limited-edition sets round out the collection

In addition to the two standard stainless steel models, OMEGA is offering two limited-edition collector’s sets: one for James Bond and one for Spectre. Each set is available in a limited run of 77 numbered pieces.

Each set includes two additional watches: a special stainless steel version on a brushed mesh strap and a platinum-gold version on a leather strap. These four models are available exclusively as part of the sets. The stainless steel watches in the sets feature their individual limited-edition number on a plaque at the 9 o’clock position.

The platinum and gold versions continue this design theme. The Bond reference 210.83.42.20.03.001 features an 18-karat white gold dial with a blue PVD gradient and a gun barrel motif. The Spectre reference 210.83.42.20.01.001 features a dark gray gradient and an octopus motif. On both models, the polished bezel is made of ceramic, and the diving scale is crafted from platinum. The respective emblem on the rotor is made of 18-karat Moonshine gold.

The sets also include a NATO strap with a strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a magnifying glass, a leather travel case, a card holder, and a certificate of authenticity.
