Marco Bicego appoints padel star Marta Ortega as new brand ambassador

Padel, an alternative to tennis, is gaining increasing popularity. Italian luxury brand Marco Bicego has now appointed top padel player Marta Ortega as its international brand ambassador.

Marco Bicego has announced the name and face of a new international brand ambassador. Her name is 28-year-old Spanish padel player Marta Ortega. The successful athlete is known for her achievements and playing style. She made her debut in padel, an alternative version of tennis played on a smaller court, at the age of 19. As the youngest padel player, she reached number 1 in the World Padel Tour rankings and, almost ten years later, is still among the top ten padel players. 

As a member of the Spanish national padel team, she won the championships in 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2024, as well as the European Championship in 2022 and 2024. Her success is not only reflected in her winning streak on the padel court. Marta Ortega holds a degree in medicine, thus representing talent and dedication both in and out of the sport.
